Being literally -40 degrees celcius with the windchill makes it impossible to wear anything cute, like these long ankle grazing skirts. Mine have basically been collecting dust in my closet, since under no circumstances is my skin going to be exposed. Until you have actually been to Winnipeg to experience how cold -40 really is, you will never imagine! Maybe tomorrow I will put on a brave face, layer on some leggings, and opt for a cute skirt. We'll see how long I last! I really love the sheer one (1st photo), but I would for sure die.
I saw a vintage skirt like the first black sheer one! It wasn't for sale =( great post!

i really wish i could wear those long skirts too amongst other things! another reason i am not of fan of winter! but i love these looks, especially the first one
ReplyDeleteLovely post. It's so cold where I am also but those skirts would look beautiful with some knee-high boots. We can't let this cold weather get to us. Hehehehe.

I've heard about the freezing weather in Manitoba. Survival of the fittest!
