FABULOUS IN FAUX

Who says you have to wear fur to look fab? Being a proud vegetarian and advocate for animal welfare for the past 5 years, I say you definately don't! I am always so happy to see chic, fashionable pieces made with faux leathers and furs, embossed skins and natural dyes. Being a lover of fashion and animals is a pretty tough job, but as much as I lust over the luxury of  Mackage lambskin, I will stand behind what I truly believe is right.

WHAT A GIRL WANTS

I need to shop, BAD. It's been way too long. But I am dead broke. Being in school full time really doesn't allow me to make $$$. Value Village here I come! I always find something I can work with. I'm dying for a long white smoking jacket, and a pair of lightwashed, flared jeans (which I will most likely splurge on, elsewhere.) I always pay more for my denim. Oh and SHOES! I want/need more boots, platforms, clogs, peeptoes (cute with socks)..etc. I have an amazingly cute sock/stocking collection worth showing off! Especially before the snow comes. Let's hope this isn't anytime too soon!

DOWN TO EARTH

With my sister recently moving into my house, and with a new season fastly approaching,  I've been thinking alot about re-decorating. I despise tacky "seasonal" decor but I am in love with playing with natural, woodsy textiles, earth tones and simple patterns. I love these ideas, they really have inspired me to do something new! Now to find the time...
