FREEZING MY ASS OFF

Being literally -40 degrees celcius with the windchill makes it impossible to wear anything cute, like these long ankle grazing skirts. Mine have basically been collecting dust in my closet, since under no circumstances is my skin going to be exposed. Until you have actually been to Winnipeg to experience how cold -40 really is, you will never imagine! Maybe tomorrow I will put on a brave face, layer on some leggings, and opt for a cute skirt. We'll see how long I last! I really love the sheer one (1st photo), but I would for sure die.

MONEY GOT ME SPENDIN

After a long and miserable day at school, I decided I would treat myself to some goodies. It's friday, I made it through another week - hell, I deserved it! Also, I got in a pretty bad car accident yesterday leaving me with some severe whiplash.. not fun.. So hell yeah I deserved it! I rode down to osbourne where I picked up a wonderful bracelet and double-wrap belt as well as a new pair of booties, leggings (these are so amazing) and feather head piece/necklace. After this, I treated myself  again to a chocolate cupcake at the Cupcake Corner, then headed to Urban Barn. I've been looking for a clear, acrylic occasional chair for some time now and I saw on their website that they had a really gorgeous one, so I had to get!

Who says you have to wear fur to look fab? Being a proud vegetarian and advocate for animal welfare for the past 5 years, I say you definately don't! I am always so happy to see chic, fashionable pieces made with faux leathers and furs, embossed skins and natural dyes. Being a lover of fashion and animals is a pretty tough job, but as much as I lust over the luxury of  Mackage lambskin, I will stand behind what I truly believe is right.
